Nafasat-e-Awadh: A Royal Culinary Journey Comes Alive at Barbeque Nation

Barbeque Nation is bringing the timeless elegance of Awadhi cuisine to life with Nafasat-e-Awadh, a special food festival that is celebrating slow-cooked flavours, royal recipes, and soulful aromas. From 23rd to 27th January, guests are experiencing the richness of Awadh at Barbeque Nation, Time Square, Sakinaka, Mumbai.

This exclusive festival is honouring the philosophy of patience and precision, where food is being prepared with care, depth, and tradition. Each dish is telling a story of heritage, inspired by the kitchens of Lucknow and the Nawabi era, where flavours are delicate yet indulgent.

The curated menu is unfolding a royal spread, beginning with comforting bowls of Nimona Soup and the deeply aromatic Paya Shorba, slow-simmered to perfection. The starters are showcasing Awadh’s mastery over kebabs, with highlights like Kathal ke Kebab and Murgh Til Tikka, balancing smokiness with subtle spices.

As the feast continues, guests are savouring rich main-course delights such as Kofta Angoori and the robust Mutton Kadhai Ghosht, cooked in traditional styles that bring out intense flavours. These dishes are being perfectly paired with the fragrant Noor Mahal Pulao and soft, fluffy Khamiri Roti, completing the royal experience.

No Awadhi meal is complete without its accompaniments, and the festival is serving the bold Bhuna Lahsun Mirch ki Chutney, adding a fiery kick to every bite. To end on a sweet note, the indulgent Makhandi Halwa is offering a rich, comforting finish, true to Awadhi dessert traditions.

Nafasat-e-Awadh is inviting food lovers to slow down, savour deeply, and celebrate heritage on a plate. This limited-time festival is bringing the grace, warmth, and sophistication of Awadh straight to your table—only at Barbeque Nation.
